Our nail treatments are designed to enhance the health and appearance of the nail, cuticle and surrounding skin. To help stimulate natural, healthy nail growth, our spa nail services include the use of essential oils and seaweed.

This is the traditional manicure -- complete with a solar oil cuticle massage and soak, a hand massage, nail shaping and polish.

Finish with one of Elite's hot new colors or the simple buff shine, either way you'll always put your best hand forward.

Used in conjunction with the Classic Manicure, the Paraffin Hand Treatment is a moisturizing wax bath. Hands are dipped in warm wax infused with peach and other essential oils.

After sloughing the skin from the elbow down, we massage in essential oils and wrap your arms and hands in hot towels. Then we follow up with a Classic Manicure.

Go feet first! For pampered feet treat yourself to a heated foot bath followed by a skin sloughing treatment, vigorous massage, nail shaping, buffing and polish.

Our most decadent service! We start by caring for calluses and cuticles, then add a Sea Salt Exfoliate, a massage with aromatherapy oil, and an exhilarating Sea Clay Masque with spearmint oils while reclining in the Solace Altera Spa with heated massage. Our Classic Spa Pedicure also includes a hot stone leg massage.

Depilatories come in various methods: shaving, waxing, or electrolysis.

While shaving is the most convenient, it can lead to several problems. Ingrown hairs caused by the follicle becoming ingrown from being cut bluntly can actually "reverse" and grow into its own pore or another next to it. The pore then becomes clogged and mild infection can occur; thus a milium (white head) will form and make the skin’s surface feel bumpy. In addition, regrowth appears to occur faster and feels rough to the touch.

Waxing is the most common form of hair removal found in most spas. Its popularity has rapidly increased over the years. Clients have professed it to be the best form of hair growth maintenance. While home remedies or products advertised on "info-mercials" are inflated with promises of "pain-free" or ease in hair removal, clients who have tried these alternative methods have not been satisfied and returned for traditional services.

In a sterile environment, when implemented by a trained professional, waxing is very successful. At Elite Salon & Day Spa, only the best quality products are used to assure safe, sanitary & less painful removal. Regrowth appears to be slower due to the fact that the papila (root) is buried deep in the skin’s layers, as deep as ¼ inch -- therefore taking longer to reach the skin’s surfaces and visible to the eye. The hair is softer to the touch because it is a new hair tapered on the end -- not blunt like a shaven hair. Hair does not become ingrown, therefore making regrowth easier to maintain.

Electrolysis is another method increasing in popularity and is best performed by an R.N. or a trained professional in aesthetics. While not available on our premises, we can refer you to a trained professional. Electrolysis is costly and not always successful after one visit.
